President Cyril Ramaphosa is currently attending the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), accompanied by the Ministers of International Relations and Cooperation (Lindiwe Sisulu), Finance (Nhlanhla Nene) and Trade and Industry ( Rob Davies) , their message the CHOGM is that “South Africa is open for business and is an investment destination of choice,”.
Before leaving to the United Kingdom on Monday, Ramaphosa named a panel of advisors and people who will travel around the world to sell South Africa to investors, the names are Mcebisi Jonas, Trevor Emmanuel, Jacques Marie and Phumzile Langeni
They are tasked with raising about 100 billion dollar investment into the country over the next 5 years,” and have all agreed to our invitation to be president’s special envoys of investment” said Ramaphosa.
