Gauteng – The Public Servants Association (PSA) says it is disappointed that several unions have struck a wage deal with the government. PSA was planning a nationwide strike on Monday.
The Public Servants Association (PSA) and the National Union of Public Service and Associated Workers of South Africa (Nupsaw) have expressed their disappointment after Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu)-associated unions signed the public-sector wage agreement.
All Cosatu associates in the public service have now reached an agreement on government wages. The unions have agreed to a wage increase of between 6% and 7%.
