JACOB ZUMA REQUEST NPA TO POSTPONE HIS CRIMINAL TRIAL

Gauteng – Jacob Zuma is anticipated to appear in court next week and his trial was due to start in November.
Michael Hulley, Jacob Zuma’s lawyer has asked the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) for a halt in the trial while a legal fight over who will pay the former president’s legal costs is resolved. Shaun Abrahams has accepted a letter from Jacob Zuma’s lawyer.
Jacob Zuma wants his criminal trial delayed while he fights for taxpayers to continue financing his legal fights. If the DA’s court application is successful Jacob Zuma’s legal costs may no longer be footed by the government.
