Tamaryn Green Crowned Miss SA 2018

Gauteng: The 23 year old medical student Tamaryn Green from Western Cape, has impressed judges in 2018 miss South Africa help in Pretoria on Sunday.
It was an evening full of glitz and glamour as Miss South Africa 2018, Tamaryn Green was crowned during an exciting ceremony at the Sun Arena in Pretoria.
Green beat 11 other impressive young women from the country to scoop the prestigious crown.
She will also represent the country on a global stage at Miss Universe SA.
Tamaryn Green made it to top two and beat the 26 year old, University of Cape Town graduate Thulisa Keyi who walked away with walked away with the Miss World SA Title.
The 23 year old medical student impressed judges when she said: “I want to empower women to be the best version of themselves”.
The impressive student and model bowled judges over when she told them she would use her medical knowledge to heal people.
Bonang Matheba lived up to her title as “host with the most” as she blew the live audience and viewers at home away with he on point presenting skills and her fashion sense.
Reigning Miss Universe Demi –Leigh Nel- Peters looked beautiful and said “Miss World must be unapologetic, beautiful, demonstrate credibility and grace under pressure.
She added by saying, “she loves her country and knows this will always be home”.
