Patricia de Lille conquers over DA in Mayoral court fight

Patricia de Lille (mayor of Cape Town), was recently stripped of her party membership and she took the Democratic Alliance to court over the matter.
Patricia de Lille said she would walk away from the DA in a radio interview on Cape Talk and this led to her removal as a mayor of Cape Town and the DA withdrew her party’s membership.
The Western Cape High Court handed down judgment in an argumentative Cape Town mayorship saga involving Patricia de Lille.
Judge Patrick Gamble has ruled that Patricia de Lille will remain a councillor and mayor of Cape Town and a DA member awaiting a hearing on 25 May, Cost will stand over awaiting the outcome of 25 May.
Patricia de Lille remains a DA member awaiting a court process challenging a clause in the party’s constitution.
