GAUTENG – The nationwide bus strike that has left bus commuters unhappy for days has come to an end.
NUMSA say workers agree with 9% wage increment offer from employers, but demand back pay on 9% increase to 1 April.
Bus commuters have been affected for weeks and last week employers had sustained that no back pay was owed to employees.
Five trade unions in bus sector and employers reach an agreement on back pay. The unions and the employers agreed to a 9% wage in the first year and 8% in the second year.
