Varun’s bail conditions were relaxed in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court today on condition that he must return to South Africa before 27 MAY 2018. Magistrate Jan Greyvenstein orders authorities to return his passport. Varun Gupta is facing a number of charges including corruption, contravening the Public Finance Management Act linked to the Estina dairy farm scam and fraud. Gupta brothers’ nephew and four other people have also been charged with similar criminality. Varun Gupta is due in Free State court again over Estina dairy farm scam in August 2018.
