Arsenal To Play Atletico Madrid On The Europa League Second Leg Semifinal

Johannesburg: with Arsène Wenger leaving Arsenal at the end of the season, the gunners are hoping to give him a something to celebrate as he serves his last term as the manager.

Arsenal will be traveling to Madrid needing to score at least one goal after being held to an a1-1 draw at the Emirates  Stadium last week.

Arsene Wegner is hoping to leave on high with a silverware and a spot at  Europe’s top table next season for the North Londoners, but they are up against it to reach the final in France, Lyon.

The gunners go to the game with injury threat to the Nigerian forward Alex  Iwobi struggling with a hamstring injury sustained in the game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

However, the 21-year-old Nigerian star player is expected to be fit for tonight encounter against Atletico Madrid for the second leg semifinal.

There are also players such as goalkeeper David Ospina who has sustained a rib injury over the weekend and also  Henrikh Mkhitaryan with a knee injury.

It is not clear whether the duo will play tonight against Atletico as they are still being assessed by team doctors but hopeful will be selected.

The Madrid side is expected to throw the game back to the gunners as they had a disappointing season at La Liga.

The team didn’t win any silverware this season and this Europa League will be something to give their loyal fans.
